Georgia High School Baseball - Portal loses to Jenkins County

The Jenkins County War Eagles baseball team scored 14 runs and limited the host Portal Panthers to 5 in the War Eagles league victory on Friday.
The War Eagles (3-11) will now prepare for their outing against Montgomery County (Mt. Vernon, GA). The Eagles go into the 1A D-II Area 3 outing with a 7-10 record. In their last outing, Montgomery County was overwhelmed by McIntosh County Academy (Darien, GA), 8-6, in a league outing.
Next, the Panthers confront the Emanuel County Institute Bulldogs (Twin City, GA) in a 1A D-II Area 3 outing, on Monday, April 1. Portal will attempt to advance on its 1-12 season record. The Bulldogs go into the outing with a 14-4 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Southeast Bulloch (Brooklet, GA).
