The Pioneer Mustangs volleyball team (San Jose, CA), was nudged 3-2 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Oak Grove Eagles (San Jose, CA)

The Eagles (5-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Hill (San Jose, CA). The Falcons enter the BVAL - Santa Teresa challenge with a 0-7 record. In their last challenge, Hill was nudged by Westmont (Campbell, CA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Mustangs encounter the Prospect Panthers (Saratoga, CA) in a BVAL - Mt. Hamilton challenge, on Monday, April 1. Pioneer will attempt to move on its 3-6 season record. The Panthers enter the challenge with a 5-9 record after their 3-0 league loss to Branham (San Jose, CA).
