The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Cumberland Clippers (Cumberland, RI) and the visiting Pilgrim Patriots (Warwick, RI), saw Cumberland's lacrosse team top Pilgrim by a margin of 13-1.

The Clippers (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Middletown (Middletown, RI). The Islanders enter the Division 2 challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Middletown was overwhelmed by Chariho (Wood River Junction, RI), 12-3, in a league challenge.

The Patriots (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Toll Gate (Warwick, RI). The Titans enter the Division 2 challenge with a 0-0 record.
