The Boone County Rebels softball squad (Florence, KY), was routed 11-1 in Friday's non-league bout with the host Bracken County Polar Bears (Brooksville, KY)

The Polar Bears (6-3) will now prepare for their bout against Montgomery County (Mt. Sterling, KY). The Indians go into the non-league bout with a 9-0 record. In their last bout, Montgomery County toppled Johnson Central (Paintsville, KY), 11-7, in a non-league bout.

The Rebels now possess a 1-5 record. They play next when they travel to Henry Clay for a non-league bout on Saturday, March 30. Boone County will confront a Blue Devils squad coming off a 9-0 non-league loss to West Jessamine (Nicholasville, KY). The Blue Devils record now stands at 1-7.
