California High School Softball - North bounces El Segundo

The North Saxons routed the host El Segundo Eagles softball squad by a final score of 9-2 in Friday's league battle.

The Saxons (12-7) will now prepare for their battle against Mira Costa (Manhattan Beach, CA). The Mustangs go into the non-league battle with a 9-9 record. In their last battle, Mira Costa was routed by Wiseburn- Da Vinci (El Segundo, CA), 6-4, in a non-league battle.

The Eagles now possess a 9-8 record. They play next when they travel to Huntington Beach for a non-league battle on Thursday, April 4. El Segundo will meet a Oilers squad coming off a 7-1 non-league loss to Rio Mesa (Oxnard, CA). The Oilers record now stands at 11-4.
