Hermiston Bulldogs (Hermiston, WA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Walla Walla Blue Devils (Walla Walla, WA), 16-5 in a league challenge.

The Bulldogs now own a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pasco for a 3A/4A Mid-Columbia challenge on Tuesday, April 9. Hermiston will battle a Bulldogs squad coming off a 17-2 league loss to Southridge (Kennewick, WA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-9.

With the loss, Walla Walla falls to 1-8 on the campaign. The Blue devils host Richland (Richland, WA) to battle the Bombers in a 3A/4A Mid-Columbia challenge on Wednesday, April 10. The Bombers enter the challenge with a record of 7-0.
