Knott County Central Patriots (Hindman, KY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Jenkins Cavaliers (Jenkins, KY), 14-4 in a league challenge.

The Patriots now own a 5-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Owsley County for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 1.

With the loss, Jenkins falls to 3-4 on the campaign. The Cavaliers travel to Leslie County (Hyden, KY) to face the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 8. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 5-5.
