The McCracken County Mustangs (Paducah, KY) baseball got by the visiting Apollo Eagles (Owensboro, KY), 3-2 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

The Mustangs now own a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they host Paducah Tilghman for a District 2 challenge on Monday, March 31. McCracken County will clash with a Blue Tornado team coming off a 12-0 non-league win over Halls (Halls, TN). The Blue Tornado record now stands at 6-1.

With the defeat, Apollo drops to 4-2 on the year. The Eagles host Madisonville-North Hopkins (Madisonville, KY) to clash with the Maroons in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 7. The Maroons go into the challenge with a record of 5-4.
