In Saturday's non-league game, the host Pleasant Hill Roosters/Chicks baseball team scored a nice 20-5 win over the Appleton City Bulldogs.
The Roosters/Chicks (5-1) will now prepare for their game against Clinton (Clinton, MO). The Cardinals go into the Class 4 District 12 game with a 3-2 record. In their last game, Clinton knocked off Northwest (Hughesville, MO), 16-4, in a non-league game.
