In Saturday's league bout, the Avon Old Farms Beavers (Avon, CT) baseball squad overwhelmed the host Kent School Lions (Kent, CT), by a score of 14-0.
Next up, the Beavers encounter the Kingswood Oxford Wyverns (West Hartford, CT) in a Founders bout, on Wednesday, April 2. Avon Old Farms will attempt to advance on its 1-1 season record. The Wyverns enter the bout with a 1-0 record after their 5-2 league win over Taft School (Watertown, CT).
The Lions (0-1) will now prepare for their bout against Trinity-Pawling School (Pawling, NY). The Pride enter the Founders bout with a 0-1 record. In their last bout, Trinity-Pawling School was overwhelmed by Choate Rosemary Hall School (Wallingford, CT), 11-0, in a league bout.
