In Saturday's non-league game, the visiting Lawson Cardinals baseball team scored a close 6-4 win over the Barstow Knights.

The Cardinals (9-0) will now prepare for their game against Lafayette County (Higginsville, MO). The Huskers go into the Class 3 District 15 game with a 2-2 record. In their last game, Lafayette County nudged St. Paul Lutheran (Concordia, MO), 5-1, in a non-league game.
