The Central Columbia Bluejays baseball team scored 5 runs and held the visiting Bloomsburg Panthers to 2 in the Bluejays non-league win on Saturday.
The Bluejays now own a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Milton for a Heartland II test on Monday, March 31. Central Columbia will clash with a Black Panthers team coming off a 4-1 non-league win over Mifflinburg (Mifflinburg, PA). The Black Panthers record now stands at 2-0.
With the defeat, Bloomsburg drops to 1-4 on the year. The Panthers host Loyalsock Township (Williamsport, PA) to clash with the Lancers in a Heartland III test on Wednesday, April 2. The Lancers go into the test with a record of 0-3.
