In Saturday's league game, the host Brother Rice Warriors baseball team scored a close 3-1 victory over the St. Mary's Prep Eaglets.
The Warriors (3-2) will now prepare for their game against Central (Detroit, MI). The Trail Blazers enter the non-league game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, Central held off Fenton (Fenton, MI), 7-0, in a non-league game.
Next, the Eaglets face the De La Salle Collegiate Pilots (Warren, MI) in a Catholic Central game, on Wednesday, April 2. St. Mary's Prep will attempt to improve on its 3-2 season record. The Pilots enter the game with a 4-0 record after their 10-1 league win over University of Detroit Jesuit (Detroit, MI).
