The Carlsbad Cavemen/Cavegirls baseball squad (Carlsbad, NM), 7-4 in Saturday's non-league contest with the host Cleveland Storm (Rio Rancho, NM)
With the triumph, Cleveland moves its record to 11-5 on the season. The Storm travel to Cibola (Albuquerque, NM) to confront the Cougars in a 5A District 1 contest on Tuesday, April 1. The Cougars come into the contest with a record of 12-4. Cibola won 12-2 in their recent non-league contest against Atrisco Heritage Academy (Albuquerque, NM)
The Cavemen/Cavegirls now possess a 10-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lovington for a non-league contest on Saturday, March 29. Carlsbad will confront a Wildcats squad coming off a 9-6 non-league win over Santa Rosa (Santa Rosa, NM). The Wildcats record now stands at 8-5.
