The crowd at Saturday's league battle between the Christian Heritage Lions (Dalton, GA) and the visiting Dade County Wolverines (Trenton, GA), saw Christian Heritage's baseball team gain a win over Dade County by a tally of 7-1.

The Lions (10-8) will now prepare for their battle against Coosa (Rome, GA). The Eagles enter the A D1 Region 7 battle with a 5-16 record. In their last battle, Coosa was overwhelmed by Gordon Lee (Chickamauga, GA), 12-2, in a league battle.

Next, the Wolverines face the Gordon Central Warriors (Calhoun, GA) in a A D1 Region 7 battle, on Wednesday, April 2. Dade County will attempt to upgrade on its 7-12 season record. The Warriors enter the battle with a 1-15 record after their 11-1 league loss to Armuchee (Rome, GA).
