In Saturday's non-league bout, the Hominy Bucks (Hominy, OK) baseball squad overwhelmed the host Pawnee Black Bears (Pawnee, OK), by a tally of 11-2.
The Bucks now hold a 6-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Depew for a non-league test on Thursday, April 3. Hominy will play a Hornets team coming off a 13-4 non-league win over Wellston (Wellston, OK). The Hornets record now stands at 9-6.
With the defeat, Pawnee drops to 1-10 on the year. The Black bears host Nowata (Nowata, OK) to play the Ironmen in a non-league test on Monday, March 31. The Ironmen go into the test with a record of 1-11. Nowata lost 6-5 in their recent non-league test against Caney Valley (Ramona, OK)
