West Virginia High School Baseball - Ripley wallops Nicholas County

March 29, 2025: Ripley, WV 25271

The Ripley Vikings (Ripley, WV) baseball trounced the visiting Nicholas County Grizzlies (Summersville, WV), 11-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

The Vikings now own a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cabell Midland for a non-league challenge on Monday, March 31. Ripley will clash with a Knights team coming off a 11-6 non-league win over John Marshall (Glen Dale, WV). The Knights record now stands at 4-3.

With the defeat, Nicholas County drops to 4-3 on the year. The Grizzlies host Wyoming East (New Richmond, WV) to clash with the Warriors in a Coalfield AA challenge on Monday, March 31. The Warriors go into the challenge with a record of 3-1. Wyoming East lost 9-6 in their recent non-league challenge against Scott (Madison, WV)
