The crowd at Saturday's league battle between the Screven County Gamecocks (Sylvania, GA) and the visiting Savannah Bluejackets (Savannah, GA), saw Screven County's baseball team beat Savannah by a margin of 19-1.

The Gamecocks (14-6) will now prepare for their battle against McIntosh County Academy (Darien, GA). The Buccaneers enter the A D2 Region 3 battle with a 5-13 record. In their last battle, McIntosh County Academy defeated Bryan County (Pembroke, GA), 7-5, in a league battle.

Next, the Bluejackets face the Jenkins County War Eagles (Millen, GA) in a A D2 Region 3 battle, on Wednesday, April 9. Savannah will attempt to improve on its 0-12 season record.
