Arizona High School Volleyball - Sunrise Mountain tips Desert Vista

In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Sunrise Mountain Mustangs volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Desert Vista Thunder.

The Mustangs (9-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Canyon View (Waddell, AZ). The Jaguars come into the 5A Northwest Valley challenge with a 3-10 record. In their last challenge, Canyon View edged ALA - Ironwood (Ironwood, AZ), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Thunder meet the O'Connor Eagles (Phoenix, AZ) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, April 1. Desert Vista will attempt to upgrade on its 13-13 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 12-8 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Higley (Gilbert, AZ).
