The crowd at Saturday's non-league battle between the Carlsbad Cavemen/Cavegirls (Carlsbad, NM) and the host Cleveland Storm (Rio Rancho, NM), saw Carlsbad's baseball team get by Cleveland by a tally of 2-1.
The Cavemen/Cavegirls (9-2) will now prepare for their battle against Eunice (Eunice, NM). The Cardinals enter the non-league battle with a 1-2 record. In their last battle, Eunice held off Wink (Wink, TX), 12-4, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Storm face the Cibola Cougars (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, April 1. Cleveland will attempt to upgrade on its 7-6 season record. The Cougars enter the battle with a 10-0 record after their 15-7 non-league win over Atrisco Heritage Academy (Albuquerque, NM).
