Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the North Cross Raiders (Roanoke, VA) and the visiting Trinity Christian Gryphons (Fairfax, VA), witnessed North Cross's lacrosse squad top Trinity Christian by a score of 19-5.

The Raiders (4-3) will now prepare for their contest against New Covenant (Lynchburg, VA). The Gryphons enter the VISAA Division 3 contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, New Covenant was overwhelmed by Jefferson Forest (Forest, VA), 20-6, in a non-league outing.

With the loss, Trinity Christian falls to 3-2 on the year. The Gryphons travel to Trinity at Meadow View (Falls Church, VA) to face the Tempest in a VISAA Division 2 outing on Tuesday, April 1. The Tempest go into the outing with a record of 2-2. Trinity at Meadow View won 13-12 in their recent non-league outing against Fredericksburg Christian (Fredericksburg, VA)
