Ohio High School Softball - Fort Frye sneaks past Barnesville

In Saturday's non-league match, the host Fort Frye Cadets softball team scored a tight 7-6 win over the Barnesville Shamrocks.
The Cadets (3-1) will now prepare for their match against St. Marys (St. Marys, WV). The Blue Devils come into the non-league match with a 5-0 record. In their last match, St. Marys nipped Williamstown (Williamstown, WV), 10-1, in a league match.
In their next game, the Shamrocks battle the Union Local Jets (Belmont, OH) in a non-league match, on Monday, March 31. Barnesville will attempt to better on its 3-1 season record. The Jets come into the match with a 3-3 record after their 14-8 non-league win over East Liverpool (East Liverpool, OH).
