Alabama High School Softball - Central of Clay County bounces Ranburne

In Saturday's non-league match, the host Central of Clay County Volunteers softball team scored a tight 7-3 victory over the Ranburne Bulldogs.

The Volunteers (9-8) will now prepare for their match against Childersburg (Childersburg, AL). The Tigers go into the non-league match with a 10-10 record. In their last match, Childersburg tipped Sylacauga (Sylacauga, AL), 9-6, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Horseshoe Bend Generals (New Site, AL) in a non-league match, on Saturday, March 29. Ranburne will attempt to better on its 5-8 season record. The Generals go into the match with a 11-1 record after their 3-1 league win over Reeltown (Notasulga, AL).
