West Virginia High School Softball - Point Pleasant Independence

The Point Pleasant Big Blacks softball squad (Point Pleasant, WV), was routed 11-8 in Saturday's non-league contest with the visiting Independence Patriots (Coal City, WV)

With the triumph, Independence improves its record to 9-1 on the year. The Patriots travel to Lewis County (Vanceburg, KY) to face the Lions in a non-league contest on Wednesday, April 2. The Lions enter the contest with a record of 5-3.

The Big Blacks now hold a 4-4 record. They play next when they host Sissonville for a non-league contest on Tuesday, April 1.
