The crowd at Saturday's league bout between the MacArthur Generals (Houston, TX) and the host Nimitz Cougars (Houston, TX), observed MacArthur's softball team get by Nimitz by a tally of 9-3.

The Generals (8-9) will now prepare for their bout against Eisenhower (Houston, TX). The Eagles go into the 6A Region II District 14 bout with a 7-6 record. In their last bout, Eisenhower tipped Benjamin Davis (Houston, TX), 19-2, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Cougars clash with the Aldine Mustangs (Houston, TX) in a 6A Region II District 14 bout, on Tuesday, April 1. Nimitz will attempt to advance on its 4-13 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 6-14 record after their 20-5 league win over Dekaney (Houston, TX).
