Texas High School Softball - Mansfield Summit succumbs to Seguin

March 29, 2025: Arlington, TX 76001

In Saturday's league test, the Seguin Cougars (Arlington, TX) softball squad overwhelmed the host Mansfield Summit Jaguars (Arlington, TX), by a tally of 21-3.

Next, the Cougars clash with the Everman Bulldogs (Everman, TX) in a 5A Region I District 8 test, on Tuesday, April 1. Seguin will attempt to advance on its 8-7 season record. The Bulldogs go into the test with a 2-15 record after their 19-0 league loss to Burleson (Burleson, TX).

The Jaguars (4-6) will now prepare for their test against Centennial (Burleson, TX). The Spartans go into the 5A Region I District 8 test with a 17-6 record. In their last test, Centennial prevailed over Cleburne (Cleburne, TX), 18-0, in a league test.
