South Carolina High School Softball - White Knoll sneaks past May River

March 29, 2025: Bluffton, SC 2991

The White Knoll Timberwolves (Lexington, SC) softball nipped the host May River Sharks (Bluffton, SC), 7-6 in Saturday's non-league outing.

The Timberwolves now sport a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Chapin for a AAAAA Region 4 outing on Tuesday, April 1. White Knoll will encounter a Eagles team coming off a 8-4 league win over Irmo (Columbia, SC). The Eagles record now stands at 7-6.

With the loss, May River moves to 7-5 on the season. The Sharks travel to Colleton County (Walterboro, SC) to encounter the Cougars in a AAAA Region 6 outing on Wednesday, April 2. The Cougars come into the outing with a record of 9-0. Colleton County won 21-0 in their recent league outing against Bishop England (Charleston, SC)
