Thayer Bobcats (Thayer, MO) supporters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Mountain Grove Panthers (Mountain Grove, MO), 11-4 in a league game.

With the triumph, Thayer improves its record to 4-1 on the year. The Bobcats host Dora (Dora, MO) to face the Falcons in a non-league game on Monday, March 31. The Falcons enter the game with a record of 0-5. Dora lost 11-8 in their recent non-league game against Spokane (Spokane, MO)

The Panthers now hold a 1-2 record. They play next when they host Alton for a Class 2 District 4 game on Monday, March 31. Mountain Grove will face a Comets squad coming off a 13-1 non-league win over Winona (Winona, MO). The Comets record now stands at 2-3.
