The Sterlington Panthers softball team scored 6 runs and held the visiting Quitman Wolverines to 0 in the Panthers non-league win on Saturday.

The Panthers now sport a 12-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jena for a non-league battle on Tuesday, April 1. Sterlington will confront a Giants team coming off a 6-5 non-league win over Quitman (Quitman, LA). The Giants record now stands at 17-3.

With the loss, Quitman moves to 16-5 on the season. The Wolverines host Ouachita Christian (Monroe, LA) to confront the Eagles in a non-league battle on Sunday, March 30. The Eagles come into the battle with a record of 9-9. Ouachita Christian won 15-0 in their recent league battle against Madison (Tallulah, LA)
