The Willow Springs Bears softball team scored 10 runs and held the visiting Salem Tigers to 1 in the Bears non-league win on Saturday.

The Bears now sport a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Norwood for a non-league battle on Monday, March 31. Willow Springs will confront a Pirates team coming off a 15-0 non-league win over Alton (Alton, MO). The Pirates record now stands at 1-0.

With the loss, Salem moves to 3-2 on the season. The Tigers travel to Potosi (Potosi, MO) to confront the Trojans in a Class 2 District 3 battle on Tuesday, April 1. The Trojans come into the battle with a record of 3-1. Potosi won 3-2 in their recent league battle against West County (Leadwood, MO)
