The Wayne County Yellow Jackets got by the host Richmond Hill Wildcats baseball team by a count of 4-3 in Wednesday's non-league bout.
The Yellow Jackets now possess a 6-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pierce County for a non-league bout on Friday, March 5. Wayne County will face a Bears team coming off a 14-8 non-league win over Berrien (Nashville, GA). The Bears record now stands at 6-1.
Next, the Wildcats face the Brunswick Pirates (Brunswick, GA) in a AAAAAA Region 2 bout, on Monday, March 8. Richmond Hill will attempt to move on its 3-6 season record. The Pirates enter the bout with a 5-2 record after their 5-4 non-league win over Brantley County (Nahunta, GA).
