The Red Springs Red Devils baseball team scored 16 runs and limited the host Douglas Byrd Eagles to 1 in the Red Devils non-league victory on Thursday.
The Red Devils (4-0) will now prepare for their match against Midway (Dunn, NC). The Raiders go into the Southeastern Athletic 2A match with a 0-2 record.
The Eagles (0-3) will now prepare for their match against Jack Britt (Fayetteville, NC). The Buccaneers go into the United Eight 3A/4A match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, Jack Britt was overwhelmed by St. Pauls (St. Pauls, NC), 4-3, in a non-league match.
