In Thursday's non-league game, the visiting James Kenan Tigers baseball team scored a tight 3-0 victory over the Lakewood Leopards.
The Tigers (2-0) will now prepare for their game against North Duplin (Calypso, NC). The Rebels go into the non-league game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, North Duplin by South Lenoir (Deep Run, NC), 10-7, in a non-league game.
The Leopards (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Clinton (Clinton, NC). The Dark Horses go into the non-league game with a 1-2 record. In their last game, Clinton tipped Wallace-Rose Hill (Teachey, NC), 14-0, in a non-league game.
