The Port of Los Angeles Polar Bears baseball team scored 7 runs and limited the host Rolling Hills Prep Huskies to 6 in the Polar Bears non-league victory on Thursday.
The Polar Bears (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Harbor Teacher (Wilmington, CA). The Monarchs go into the Coliseum match with a 1-1 record.
The Huskies (0-5) will now prepare for their match against New Roads (Santa Monica, CA). The Jaguars go into the Coastal match with a 0-2 record. In their last match, New Roads was edged by Environmental Charter (Lawndale, CA), 9-8, in a non-league match.
