The Sandia Matadors baseball team scored 5 runs and limited the host Valley Vikings to 1 in the Matadors non-league victory on Thursday.
The Matadors (4-1) will now prepare for their match against Albuquerque Academy (Albuquerque, NM). The Chargers go into the non-league match with a 4-0 record. In their last match, Albuquerque Academy edged Los Alamos (Los Alamos, NM), 8-2, in a non-league match.
The Vikings (1-2) will now prepare for their match against Los Alamos (Los Alamos, NM). The Hilltoppers go into the non-league match with a 0-2 record. In their last match, Los Alamos was overwhelmed by Albuquerque Academy (Albuquerque, NM), 8-2, in a non-league match.
