In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Parkway Panthers basketball squad scored a close 55-54 victory over the Lafayette Lions.
With the victory, Parkway improves its record to 34-2 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Ponchatoula (Ponchatoula, LA) to confront the Green Wave in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 5. The Green Wave come into the challenge with a record of 30-3. Ponchatoula won 68-59 in their recent non-league challenge against Walker (Walker, LA)
