Austin Black Bears (Decatur, AL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Bob Jones Patriots (Madison, AL), 16-9 in a non-league challenge.
The Black Bears now own a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to James Clemens for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 8.
