Southeastern Mustangs (Remlap, AL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Cleveland Panthers (Cleveland, AL), 10-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Mustangs now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Locust Fork for a non-league challenge on Monday, March 7. Southeastern will face a Hornets squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Oneonta (Oneonta, AL). The Hornets record now stands at 1-0.

With the loss, Cleveland falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Panthers host Pennington (Blountsville, AL) to face the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 5. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
