Acadiana Rams (Lafayette, LA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Sulphur Golden Tors (Sulphur, LA), 7-6 in a non-league challenge.

The Rams now own a 8-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Walker for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 4.

With the loss, Sulphur falls to 2-2 on the campaign. The Golden tors host New Iberia (New Iberia, LA) to battle the Yellowjackets in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 8. The Yellowjackets enter the challenge with a record of 3-3. New Iberia won 13-8 in their recent non-league challenge against Highland Baptist Christian (New Iberia, LA)
