Florida High School Softball - Auburndale bounces George Jenkins

The Auburndale Bloodhounds (Auburndale, FL) softball routed the visiting George Jenkins Eagles (Lakeland, FL), 11-0 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Bloodhounds (3-2) will now prepare for their bout against Bartow (Bartow, FL). The Yellow Jackets go into the non-league bout with a 4-0 record. In their last bout, Bartow toppled Lake Region (Eagle Lake, FL), 5-0, in a non-league bout.

The Eagles now possess a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Winter Haven for a 6A District 10 bout on Friday, March 4. George Jenkins will confront a Blue Devils squad coming off a 4-3 non-league loss to McKeel Academy (Lakeland, FL). The Blue Devils record now stands at 2-3.
