Spectators at Thursday's league match between the Leroy Bears (Leroy, AL) and the visiting Clarke County Bulldogs (Grove Hill, AL), witnessed Leroy's softball squad prevail over Clarke County by a count of 17-0.
The Bears now sport a 6-2 record. They play next when they host Saraland for a non-league match on Thursday, March 10. Leroy will meet a Spartans squad coming off a 24-0 league win over McGill-Toolen (Mobile, AL). The Spartans record now stands at 1-6.
