Mississippi High School Softball - Florence bounces Warren Central

Florence Eagles (Florence, MS) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Warren Central Vikings (Vicksburg, MS), 8-2 in a non-league challenge.
The Eagles now own a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they host Clinton for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 4.
With the loss, Warren Central falls to 5-5 on the campaign. The Vikings host Pearl (Pearl, MS) to face the Pirates in a 6A Region 6 challenge on Tuesday, March 8. The Pirates enter the challenge with a record of 7-2. Pearl won 9-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Mendenhall (Mendenhall, MS)
