In Thursday's non-league contest, the Westminster Christian Wildcats (Huntsville, AL) softball team held off the visiting Kate Duncan Smith DAR Patriots (Grant, AL), by a margin of 3-2.
With the triumph, Westminster Christian moves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Wildcats host Decatur Heritage Christian Academy (Decatur, AL) to play the Eagles in a non-league contest on Tuesday, March 8. The Eagles come into the contest with a record of 1-0.
