The Pirates now own a 4-6 record. They take the field next when they host Bowie for a non-league challenge on Monday, March 7. Pittsburg will battle a Pirates squad coming off a 9-4 non-league win over Pewitt (Omaha, TX). The Pirates record now stands at 4-5.

With the loss, Kilgore falls to 3-11 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Cumby (Cumby, TX) to battle the Trojans in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 4. The Trojans enter the challenge with a record of 1-0. Cumby won 12-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Lone Oak (Lone Oak, TX)
