South Grand Prairie Warriors (Grand Prairie, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Lake Highlands Wildcats (Dallas, TX), 17-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Warriors now sport a 10-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Poteet for a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 3. South Grand Prairie will face a Pirates squad coming off a 8-5 non-league loss to Bonham (Bonham, TX). The Pirates record now stands at 4-3.

With the loss, Lake Highlands falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to North Mesquite (Mesquite, TX) to face the Stallions in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 4. The Stallions enter the challenge with a record of 5-5. North Mesquite won 14-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Hillcrest (Dallas, TX)
