Pierce County Bears (Blackshear, GA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Southeast Bulloch Yellow Jackets (Brooklet, GA), 11-3 in a non-league test.

With the win, Pierce County upgrades its record to 4-5 on the season. The Bears travel to Brantley County (Nahunta, GA) to battle the Herons in a 2A Area 3 test on Tuesday, March 7. The Herons come into the test with a record of 6-4. Brantley County won 6-2 in their recent non-league test against Cook (Adel, GA)

With the defeat, Southeast Bulloch falls to 2-4 on the season. The Yellow jackets host Screven County (Sylvania, GA) to battle the Gamecocks in a non-league test on Monday, March 6. The Gamecocks come into the test with a record of 3-7. Screven County lost 4-1 in their recent non-league test against Jefferson County (Louisville, GA)
