Connecticut High School Basketball - Danbury winner over Staples

The Danbury Hatters (Danbury, CT) basketball felled the visiting Staples Wreckers (Westport, CT), 69-53 in Friday's non-league test.

The Hatters (20-2) will now prepare for their test against Norwich Free Academy (Norwich, CT). The Wildcats go into the non-league test with a 10-11 record. In their last test, Norwich Free Academy went down by Windham (Willimantic, CT), 83-82, in a non-league test.

The Wreckers now own a 17-6 record. They play next when they host Manchester for a non-league test on Tuesday, March 7. Staples will encounter a Red Hawks squad coming off a 63-59 league loss to East Hartford (East Hartford, CT). The Red Hawks record now stands at 11-9.
