The Kake Thunderbirds basketball squad scored 74 points and limited the visiting Klawock Chieftains to 57 in the Thunderbirds non-league win on Friday.
With the win, Kake upgrades its record to 18-0 on the season.
Next up, the Chieftains play the Skagway Panthers (Skagway, AK) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, March 4. Klawock will attempt to upgrade on its 20-8 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 9-8 record after their 55-48 non-league loss to Klawock (Klawock, AK).
