Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the McLaughlin Mustangs (McLaughlin, SD) and the visiting Mobridge-Pollock Tigers (Mobridge, SD), saw McLaughlin's basketball squad knock off Mobridge-Pollock by a tally of 43-35.

With the victory, McLaughlin improves its record to 12-8 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to More (Rapid City, SD) to play the Cavaliers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 7. The Cavaliers come into the challenge with a record of 19-2. More won 48-32 in their recent non-league challenge against Belle Fourche (Belle Fourche, SD)
