Claxton Tigers (Claxton, GA) fans were thrilled Friday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Bryan County Redskins (Pembroke, GA), 1-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Tigers confront the Bulloch Academy Gators (Statesboro, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, March 7. Claxton will attempt to better on its 3-5 season record. The Gators enter the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 10-0 non-league win over First Preparatory Christian Academy (Hinesville, GA).

The Redskins now have a 3-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Woodville-Tompkins for a 1A D-I Region 3 challenge on Friday, March 10.
